Building a custom PC used to be the default advice for saving cash, but volatile component pricing and next-generation hardware launches have made turnkey pre-builts surprisingly competitive. The Lenovo Legion Tower 5 Gen 10 brings a formidable hardware combination to the table, pairing the undisputed gaming champion—the AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D—with Nvidia’s new GeForce RTX 5070. For shoppers wanting serious AAA performance without hunting down individual parts or paying a boutique builder premium, this rig presents a very compelling value proposition.
The Ryzen 7 7800X3D remains a top choice for gamers thanks to its massive 3D V-Cache, which eliminates CPU bottlenecks in open-world and competitive titles. Mated to the RTX 5070, this desktop easily powers through modern rasterized and ray-traced workloads at high-refresh 1440p and native 4K. Lenovo’s Tower 5 chassis also focuses on practical airflow and standardized components, keeping thermals in check during extended gaming sessions while leaving room for standard upgrades down the road.
