Ultra-portable computing usually demands a steep premium or major compromises, but pocket-sized PCs are redefining how small a functional desktop can get. The X+ NUC1 brings a full Windows 11 experience to an ultra-compact chassis that genuinely slips into a jacket pocket, offering a versatile computing option without the footprint or price tag of an ultraportable laptop.
Despite its micro form factor, the NUC1 delivers genuine utility for everyday tasks. Designed around low-power x86 hardware, it handles basic office productivity, web browsing, media streaming, and lightweight retro emulation with minimal energy draw, making it a viable setup for tight spaces or mobile workstations powered by a portable power bank.
- True Pocket Portability: A miniature footprint that fits in a pocket, offering complete desktop OS functionality anywhere you have a display.
- Full Windows 11 Compatibility: Runs native desktop x86 applications, making it far more capable for productivity workflows than locked-down mobile OS platforms.
- Low-Power Efficiency: Optimized for everyday web tasks, document editing, and 4K media playback without demanding heavy cooling or massive power supplies.
- Flexible Connectivity: Outfitted with the essential ports needed to quickly dock with an external monitor, keyboard, and mouse for an instant workstation.
Bottom line: If you need an ultra-compact backup PC for travel, lightweight media streaming, or on-the-go diagnostics that takes up virtually zero bag space, the X+ NUC1 delivers pocket-sized desktop utility on a budget.
